Patrick J. Christmas has over thirty-five years of litigation experience in both civil and criminal law in a five to nine attorney litigation law firm, specializing in the fields of medical malpractice and personal injury. He graduated from the American University School of Government (B.A. 1966) and the Georgetown School of Law (J.D. 1969).
He is primarily responsible for the majority of the case load from initial client contact through negotiations and trial work. Christmas and Associates presently has a caseload of over 600 clients. Mr. Christmas has represented numerous individual members of the Metropolitan Police Department, Capitol Police, United States Park Police, United States Secret Service and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers (the largest police union in the country for approximately five years). He has represented members of the union in a Pre-Paid Legal Program in Administrative hearings such as Trial Board, Retirement, etc. Mr. Christmas has previously been employed by the District of Columbia Corporation Counsel’s Office and by the General Counsel Office of the National Railway Labor Conference (labor law). He is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and US Supreme Court Bars, the American Association of Trial Lawyers, the DC Bar Association, and the Maryland Bar Association.
